Follow

Follow : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
Up to the top the buckets go , yeah some for water and some full of clothes and then down to the market place they go along those clay walkways.
And the children laugh and sing all the way and the women talk about the day ahead what it holds for each and about the lives they lead.
And the sun comes down between the trees and as they walk tall grass sways past their knees.
And the light bounces right off their white teeth , their hearts and feet hold down the beat.
And so, Some walk fast and some walk slow some for work and some just for show.
Some walk fast and some walk slow and all the men stop to watch the way their hips go
And the elders smile cause they all know that where the women go the rest will follow. Follow , follow, Follow , follow,
Well that may have been in a perfect world before we discovered our diamonds and gold, chopped down trees and dug big holes, put up walls and buried our souls,
Forgot our children on the road and then we ran for cover as the sun grew cold.
We love our money talk instead, accumulate at the highest rate, the sun only reaches those on top and our women are brought and sold like their crops,
An angry fist bounces off these teeth, and their hearts and feet hold down the beating. And now…

Afraid of the Dark
Afraid of the Dark : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
So tired tonight, we all close our eyes
Kiss the light goodbye with all of our lullabies We’ll Sleep tight tonight, oh, we’ll try
Cause it wont be long till these nightmares come.
I’m drowning but there’s nothing round my legs
And im free…
The surface that I can see is just in front of me
I can almost touch her face but then I cant breathe
I can almost touch her face but then Im drowning in the sea
We’re like children you and i
Afraid of the dark
We’re like children
So please don’t you do us no harm
Because you know no it doesn’t help to share some of our…
It just might help to share some of our
It always helps to share our nightmares..
Im Awake again with my head in the rain
And my brother too but he’s got a better view of all these passing shoes, should probably make a move like we both got something better to do , but we both know that its not true. We both know. Excuse me Mr. but I don’t know
your name and do we really all look the same to you at all. no no.
These blankets they are warm and there all over me.
There’s laugher in these rooms and its all milk and honey, honey, honey. …

Kathrin
Kathrin : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
I waked in and saw her lying there on the bed
She’s this beautiful lady in red, She wakes up and says to me:
Your guitar, has it carried you far?
And I say yeah.
We left home together nearly a year ago
It’s carried me to Hong Kong all the way here from Rome
She smiles at me and says, “Respect!”
Makes me feel amazing.
And I want to…
Thank you Kathrin, for giving me dreads
Thank you Kathrin for destroying my hair
Thank you Kathrin for breaking my heart…
I see her in an hour or two, she’s sitting by the pool
Oh god damn she’ so lovely.
We talk again and I wonder off to fall asleep
Beneath some shady trees I go to dream time.
And then Evening comes in time for watermelons and ice coffees, places for friends.
Out come guitars and didge to play,
We sing songs she films away
And we are happy. And I want to…
We meet again in a week or two ,
Both are surprised to look into each others eyes,
And we are contemplating.
a box of wine we are in hand
Down to the waters edge we’re singing in the sand.
And I, I sing to her and she to me
We’re feeling high we’re feeling free.
I can’t believe that this is happening to me
I do believe that in this frame of mind
She could do anything to me, and she did…

The Mack
The Mack : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
Size doesn’t matter if you’re evil with a gun
He burnt his fingers pointing at the sun He don’t spend his days in heaven
Cause of what he did for fun, You know…
And his belly doesn’t matter if he’s evil with a gun
He say the extra weight helps him concentrate
With his toothless grin above his menacing double chin
All liquidized food is so easy to funnel in.
He says he used to be the ‘Mack’ you know.
Your main daddy’o.
Nobody gives him crap, or tells him where to go.
And he starts to loose the plot and so,
Your man is getting old.
He needs a little help getting out of all his clothes.
No he’s not paranoid, no.
There’s someone sneaking up behind him. No…
Hair doesn’t matter if he’s evil with a gun
Toupee over the top, don’t cover what he aint got.
And speaking aint big thing; he still tells a joke it, all sounds funny after you’ve had a stroke.
Don’t need your man of vision if he’s evil with a gun
Those eyes behind his head make it difficult in bed,
To keep track of his knee caps, he wont get them back.
But, he tells another story of how it used to be.

To the Hills
To the Hills : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
This heart is cold its as cold as stone
Oh My sweaty palms have run dry I don’t mind turn my blind eye
Your softest touch was ever rough enough for me
Ever ever rough enough . never ever rough enough for me.
This heart is gone run to the hills
where she takes her diet pills away
This heart is gone run to the hills
where she takes her diet pills away
My friends call then they wish me well
then they tell me everything’s alright
I don’t mind all their little white lies
Your softest touch was never was never rough for me.
Ever ever ever rough enough never rough enough for me
This heart is gone run to the hills
where she takes her diet pills away
This heart is gone run to the hills
where she takes her diet pills away

Inner Way
Inner Way : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
She don’t know why she goes
Behind closed doors, in techno clothes. But I lie. Free between these sheets.
And she say, everything will be OK
When the morning comes our way.
But, that’s what she said the day before yesterday.
And then and then
I never expected you to stay.
When was it you decided?
I never expected you to say.
‘Our love is all that stands in our way’.
Inner way, in our way, inner way.
And then i wake up in a daze
Its Just a memory and a taste
To terrify and tantalize
But then oh.. It comes as no surprise that
I didn’t wake up by your side
These early morning tantric lies.
I re-eye-line myself in you
Ill hold a hand to all that’s true
Ill speak in tongues if you ask me to.
But do (do do) I dare to dream of you
Its just an excuse to be see through,
Ill picture perfect what we’ll do.

Atmosphere
Atmosphere : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
Green leaves send roots to these memories
Attached to nest don’t be a home from home
I’m holding soul up to these feathers fly.
They’re taking air back down to the ground.
And the scene it seems to me comes easily
Water smiles you know she waves at me
Our Sun likes it hot cause it takes him high
Sea’s mountains move Rain dries her eyes.
And summer says to me it’s very clear
Our utmost fear, without our atmosphere,
We’re all the same in our different ways
While we’re Standing still while these seasons change away.
An ocean opens up her heart to me
Lightning settles on a lonely tree.
The moon eclipse it trips and falls away,
Mars the stars they are all ours today.
Alone cyclone. Whose memory’s free, oh she
Broke past the last century in time for tea.
A stream in place ran down each and every face
Because this hurricane took aim but leaves no trace.

Private Beach
Private Beach : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
Not much to do today
Not much to say You see, im so happy im so fly
I got nothing but my own sweet time
Not much to wear today
No clouds to hide all of my cares away
You see im so exotic im so fly
I got money and my bright bright white smile.
My lifes a private beach
My cocktails just in reach
Got fine white sand between my pretty toes
Got the sun out today and so ive lost all my clothes…
So much I want to save
This world could be a better place
You know im so caring ive got soul
I don’t wear fur cause I grow my own , (know what I mean)
Its such a waste of air
Pollution it is every where
You know im so pretty im so sweet
Gave all my brown coins to those kids on the street

Colours
Colours : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
You see I’ve tried walking past your house at night
You know I’ve tried talking to the moon I’ve spent all night searching on the internet
Trying to find a way into your room
And though I try not to be a sneak at night
I find I’m staring at you through the wall
And I wanted you to know that I see colours in the halo round your head
And I’m staring, not a sound comes from your lips
Maybe I’m dreaming? No. It’s just my point of view
I can’t help feeling im just a little afraid of you.
Some colours round your head…
I feel my throat tighten when I say your name
Oh ill say it again cause I’ve come to like the pain
I stand for hours underneath your balcony
Even the dogs that guard your house are now the very best friends with me
Its such a shame to see you shy away
I pass you on the street almost every single day.

Divide
Divide : Lyrics and composition by Tristan Waterkeyn
It’s crazy the things we choose to do
Time and again against the grain it’s true And all these people do what people do
The wars we wage we are all so confused
But since we do not possess the grace
To excuse ourselves from the whole rat race
You know I might try to remind you oh yes its true
This rock were on its so blue
And I just hesitate to call it fate,
Smile on my face cause I’m sat here with you
Please don’t think I mean to be unkind
I never meant to draw the line
Nothing in me wanted to divide,
Your body from your mind.
See there’s space and then there’s space thats in between us
Yes there are faces and then faces who believe us
Oh we talk and talk to find the ones we trust
And then fight to be alone while being us
Now the pressures on they say we have gone wrong
All of these apes sing their pet monkeys song
Its all rubbish and its fun not to sing along
And I just hesitate to call it fate
Smile on my face cause were not playing along
